SHERMIN TAWNI ALAM CEO SHERMIN TAWNI ALAM, MBA,CPA Ms. Alam graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelors of Science in Cognitive Science - Artificial Intelligence, Behavioral Neuroscience in 1996. In 2005, Ms. Alam graduated from Santa Clara University with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a concentration in Leading People and Organizations. Ms. Alam started her career as a Business Assurance Associate with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC). She then went onto a career in Asset Based Lending as a Portfolio Analyst with Wells Fargo Capital Finance. Prior to her career in Tax and Accounting, Ms. Alam was Vice President, Underwriting Division Manager for BFI Business Finance. Ms. Alam joined Alam Accountancy Corporation, PC in 2011 and is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Her practice specializes in Tax Planning and Preparation for Individuals and all types of Businesses. Ms. Alam obtained her CPA license in 2018 and has over 25+ years of experience working with companies of all sizes in various capacities. In her spare time, Ms. Alam enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
