Ms. Alam graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelors of Science in Cognitive Science - Artificial Intelligence, Behavioral Neuroscience in 1996. In 2005, Ms. Alam graduated from Santa Clara University with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a concentration in Leading People and Organizations.

Ms. Alam started her career as a Business Assurance Associate with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC). She then went onto a career in Asset Based Lending as a Portfolio Analyst with Wells Fargo Capital Finance. Prior to her career in Tax and Accounting, Ms. Alam was Vice President, Underwriting Division Manager for BFI Business Finance.

Ms. Alam joined Alam Accountancy Corporation, PC in 2011 and is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Her practice specializes in Tax Planning and Preparation for Individuals and all types of Businesses. Ms. Alam obtained her CPA license in 2018 and has over 25+ years of experience working with companies of all sizes in various capacities. In her spare time, Ms. Alam enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Alam is the Founder of Alam Accountancy Corporation (a California Professional Corporation), located in San Jose, California. Mr. Alam has 40+ years of combined experience in setting up and managing small businesses (both industrial and commercial) from ground breaking to full-fledged operation.

Alam Accountancy Corporation is a CPA firm specializing in tax planning and preparation, bookkeeping services, individually owned businesses, client representation before the Internal Revenue Service, Board of Equalization, and State Unemployment Compensation Board. Since 1981, Mr. Alam has personally worked with hundreds of businesses throughout the Northwest in a wide variety of industries, ranging from small companies and professional practices to large companies. In addition, Mr. Alam has over 20 years of experience in business and industrial management in multinational projects and three years of teaching practicing managers as a Management Counselor overseas.

Mr. Alam specializes in the areas of Tax Preparation and Planning (Individual and Corporate), Management Consulting, General Business Consulting, Management Advisory, and Financial Planning.
